Beginning/Intermediate Yoga at Wellness Ways
All yoga classes at Wellness Ways are $10.
Your contributions are an important part of keeping the center open for all. No one is turned away for an inability to pay.
The beginning/intermediate class encourages proper alignment while building strenth, flexibility, and stamina. We focus on explanding and heightening self awareness through the use of traditional poses. We complete a series of traditional standing , sitting, and reclining poses and conclude the class with a brief quiet meditation.
This class is offered Monday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30PM
Adaptive Yoga at Wellness Ways
The class is "adaptive" because it uses a variety of props and supports to help facilitate each pose. It moves at a slower pace than the beginning class with special attention given to proper alignment. We use variations of traditional poses that some might find too challenging. We are skilled at tailoring the class for who is present. You will find the experience both challenging and relaxing. We work with your skill level to create an experience that is right for you. This is possible because of the relatively small class size.
